The very first Le Carnaval de Nice was celebrated in the City of Nice on February 23, 1873. Andriot Saetone was responsible for developing the ‘ Committee of Festivities ‘ which arranged the carnival. However, until the 19th century, Nice Carnival had uncoordinated parades.Everything changed when the carnival was revamped with floating models by Alexis Mossa and his son Gustave. The trend of floating models, therefore, ensued in the Nice Carnival. These innovations &a huge number of participants made Nice Carnival French Festivals one of the planet’s most famous carnivals.
Dates & Venue of Carnaval de Nice 2020 :
The Nice Festival France 2020 will be held from 15th to 29th February at Place Masséna – Jardin Albert 1er.
